While we serve a variety of sectors, most of our projects are large-scale residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.

Our work spans a wide range of industries, from healthcare facilities and schools to wineries, industrial plants, and multi-unit residential developments. While the majority of our projects are commercial and institutional, we also take on select residential and specialty projects where our expertise adds unique value.

We’re committed to helping our team members build successful careers. Laing Roofing supports apprentices through SkilledTradesBC. Hands-on instruction is delivered by RCABC Apprentice Training, which offers Roofing and Architectural Sheet Metal programs at its Langley, BC facility. We invest in our people by covering tuition costs and providing cash bonuses for each level completed. With training and mentorship embedded in our culture, employees gain the skills and certifications needed to thrive long-term in the building envelope industry.

How Fast Can You Become a Journeyperson?

There’s no hard cap on when you can start. In most apprenticeship tracks, you could be eligible for your journeyman ticket within your first three years of working in the trade—depending on your hours, progress, and program requirements.
